Today I entered a challenge for Stamp TV that required us to use at least 10 layers. Yes, I did say 10. That was going to be one thick card, I thought. But, It was easier than I thought and relaxing after abusy day yesterday. We had a wonderful family Thanksgiving here at home. Evone was there, except my son and daughter-in-law who have moved too far away to join us. Missing them, but so much to be thankful for. Here is the card that I completed.
Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and didn't shop till you dropped today.

I wanted to show you that you can never make a mistake when it comes to stamping. In these two cards, I wanted to use the stamp as the images on the backround as well as the focal image.
When I was stamping the backround on the first card, the stamp did not come out bright enought. I didn't want to restamp it as I would not be able to restamp them perfectly over the orginal mark. To remidy that, I used black to stamp over the light areas and them left the focal image in black instead of coloring it. You can see what I mean in the pictures.

I made several boxes of cards with various sentiments for my grandkids to give to their teachers this Christmas. They were fun and easy to do with the directions from Gina K. They are on her site, StampTV.com if you care to make them. I placed them in a clear box and tied with a red ribbon to make them look festive,.

I am back!

I have not been a very good blogger as I have not posted since October.  But today I have two cards that I completed and they were simple to make.  One is a Christmas card and the other is a Thank You card.  If you look on the challenge for this week on Stamp TV under CASE the DT, you will find the instructions for them.
