Pink Fresh Inspiration Challenge for February

Back to scrapbooking!

I started out in this paper crafting business doing scrapbook pages. Mostly the grand kids when they were little. I stopped doing them and advanced to card making. That has taken up most of my time since.
But my granddaughter will be graduating from high school this year and has been very involved in the drama department. She has been in many plays and musicals.
My gift to her this spring for graduation will be an album of her drama doings.

I am back to scrapbooking and I have to say it is hard.
Here is the page where she was in the Marvelous Wonderettes.
I was in Florida and did not see it, but I had a video to watch. This is a picture from a video, which is why it is not perfect.

I used what I had in my stash and ephemera from Pink Fresh. I needed red flowers, so I just colored the ones that you see here.

Thanks for stopping by and I always appreciate your comments!

STB - Use Red as your Main Color

JoAnn is our host, and she has chosen the toppings for this challenge.
When I think of red, I think of Christmas and Valentine's.
But Christmas if over and Valentines will be too by the time this post comes up.
What to do?
Well I came up with the Winter berries stamp, stencil and die that I have. I think it worked out well.

If you use our topping, you have a chance to be a guest designer.
I love to see what you can do with this topping.
If you are not a toppings kind of crafter, just make sure it is a birthday thee.

This challenge please check out our Surprise Party Guest
Deborah and Kath

Both of them used the toppings and got to be included as designers

Here is my card

Supplies are: The Greetery Winterberries Bouquet
Paper Trey Ink Ornate die
Gina K Designs ink, Cherry Red, Faded Brick, Stormy Sky and Soft Stone
Some sequins and jewels from my stash.

Double D Challenge - Patterned Paper

Boy, you can have a lot of fun with this challenge over at Double D! I did and I want to share with all my crafty friends.

Just a suggestion for patterned paper here.

Here is the prize for a lucky random winner.

I started out with a trip to You Tube for inspiration. Goodness knows that I have a lot of patterned paper. I selected a pack that I had used up most of the full sheets. Here is a picture of the bits and pieces that I had left out of the Simple Stories.

I made these three cards with matching envelopes, with the help of this You tube video;

Here are individual pictures

This was fun and I think that I will go and make more.
How about you? I would love to see what you come up with

Please stop over to see the team for more inspiration! You will not be disappointed.

STB - Splatters

Glenda is our host for this challenge and she has chosen Splatters.

Here is the card that I did

Supplies that I used for this card are:
Tim Holtz stencil Splatters ( never used before)
The Greetery Warm and Wonderful  stamp and die and crimped edge die.
My Favorite Things stamp for the sentiment  Raise a Glass

Ok, this was a fun card and I think it could be a masculine birthday card as well.
Please take a look at the team for more inspiration Here.

Altenew Inspiration Challenge - February 2024

A quick post to enter my card in the February 2024 challenge for
Altenew

For this card, I used the Altenew Blushing Magnolia stamp, die and sentiment.
The background is the Altenew Enchanting Vines, my favorite!
Sponged some Gina K inks over the top and then decided to cut it down to let the base of grey show more. I liked that effect. Using the cheery Lynn Fishtail banner dies.
