Quiet Christmas Part Two - Joy to the World Bouquet

We finish up this part of the Quiet Christmas Release with the grand design done by
Marcella with great detail.  This is what she is famous for, her beautiful flowers.
This stamp set in Polymer or digital includes,
Poinsettia, Hellebores ( some have gone to seed), Pomegranate, Pine, Ivy and
Cranberries!  You will have a masterpiece when you finish coloring this one.

I did something a little different on this design, after printing out the digital stamp a bit larger than the original, I ran it through my Minc foiling machine with gold foil.  Then I colored up the flowers.  I love how this turned out. The finished card is 5 1/2 square base. It shines just like a Christmas card should.

You can see some of the shine here at this angle. I did use Copic markers to bring these beauties to life.

Look at the sentiment also foiled in gold. Both the main image and the sentiment are layered in black card stock to make it classic.

Here is the video.  I just had to capture the shine and I hope you enjoy!

Now for the hop to see what the other Bloomies has created for you. Remember, you can order digital instantly or if you prefer actual stamps here. Power Poppy

Quiet Christmas Part Two - Cuddle in the Cabin

It's day four of the Quiet Christmas Release and just look at this stamp set!  It is appropriately named Cuddle in the Cabin.  Did you see the great sentiments to go along with it?  I really went out of my comfort zone in this one.

I wanted to color that cabin and place it in a snowy background.  I started by printing this digi on blue colored paper from Gina K Designs.  Who says that it needs to be on white.  I added the pine tree on the right side and enlarged it. Then I took my Prismacolor pencils and started to color.  Yes, you hear that right colored pencils.  You know that I usually go for my Copics but a girl can change her mind, right?
Here is my card for your inspiration.

Looks like my snowballs flakes are bigger than the moon in this case.  Lol
Just colored pencils and some white gel pen and a die called Anja's Square.

Wouldn't you like to cuddle in this cabin? I would and that is why I chose the sentiment on the bottom.

Please join the Bloomies on this hop.

Quiet Christmas Part Two - Season's Greetings

This is day three and I am so excited about this stamp set.  The images are so darn cute with a reflection of gardening.  Any of you that know Marcella, know that she is an avid gardener. That is reflected in the wreath, Santa, and the sweet wheel barrel. This is a 6X6 stamp set with lots of images and sentiments for you to play with. Just take a look!

I just had to print out two of the images on this set.  The first is the wheel barrel that is filled with tons of Christmas.  I placed it in the snow with snow in the background.  I used Copic markers to color this and every one of the cranberries has crystal effects on them for realism.

And the wreath was so much fun to color up.  Since it was digital, I enlarged it so that I could color up all of the details. My finished card measures 5 X 6 1/4.  Colored with Copic markers and I used a die to frame it called Anja's Square.

Hop along with the Bloom Brigade!

Quiet Christmas Part Two - Enchanted Branches Woodland

Today we have a very creative stamp set also in digital for you.  Marcella has created a branch to hang lots of enchanted images.  There are pinecones and mushrooms and acorns and that cute squirrel.  He reminds me of ornaments that hung from our Christmas tree many years ago.  You can also snuggle the cones and mushrooms on the floor of the woods along with the moss for a warm woodsy feel.

I made this card clean and simple by just using the pine cones and the moss.  I had a lot of fun just coloring them and putting in lots of shading.

I cut a large oval and put white on the edges and place it over my colored image and added some pearls and called it done.
Here is a close up of the cones made to look real with some white shading.

This was a digital stamp set, but it is available in polymer too at Power Poppy

Hope along here

Please come back tomorrow for more new images! They are sooooo cute!

Quiet Christmas Part two - Forest Fellas

Here it is November and it is time for collection two of the Quiet Christmas Release by
Power Poppy.
You may have had time to look over Collection One and decide what you what to buy and color up. Now we have more!  We are starting with Forest Fellas. A fun collection of Cute Critters that can be used alone or together.  Lots of sentiments for Christmas and the rest of the year.  These are available in polymer and digital as well at Power Poppy

Here is the card that I did using that sweet moose.

I thought that he went well with the buffalo plaid that is so popular this year.  I colored him up and fussy cut him out for this design.  I also use some of the branches from the Enchanted Branches Nativity set.

Another Christmas card was done!

Hop along here to see what the rest of the Bloomies have for you.

Double D Challenge - Pine Trees/ Pinecones

Can you believe that it is November and this is our first challenge of the month at Double D?
Appropriately, we have an inspiration board for you with lots of ideas on Pine trees and Pinecones.
I thought of the stamp set by Gine K that I have in my stash and used that for this card. It is from Home for the Holidays Stamp TV kit.  Both the stamp and the sentiment are from that kid.

I stamped the trees with Fresh Asparagus ink by  GKD on to white card stock and then used a layer on top that was in my stash from a dear friend.  I liked the oval scallops.  All of that was placed on a base card of Christmas Pine.

This is the prize for this challenge.
Something that everyone could use in their die cuts.

If this is not enough inspiration for you, no problem.
Please see what the other designers have done for this challenge.
