The title of this challenge is Candy Cane.

I chose this digital image from Power Poppy to color up. It has been too long since
I have done a no line image.
Here is the card.

Supplies are simple. digital image called Cup of Good Cheer from Power Poppy
I just used a circle die to cut the bottom of the panel and some design paper from GKD. I used some Copic markers, but mostly Prisma Colored Pencils.

Double D - Christmas Stockings

New challenge by Diane from Double D Challenge! It is not too late to make those Christmas cards!
Get out the supplies and just do it.

As soon as I saw the title of this challenge, I went right to this older stamp from
Gina K Designs called Wishing You Joy! It is so old it is red rubber.
But it makes a great card. One more reason not to get rid of older stamps. But you must use them.
The inside
For this card: Memory Box Grand Flower Box ( used as a mantle) Small Wispy pine needles.                                         Die Namics Brick Wall die.

Color Hues - Scarlet and Green

Isaw an adorable Christmas card made by my BFF Nancy Leppek and since I am celebrating Christmas in Florida it was the perfect card so I cased her card. You can see it here.

This will be a quick post, so here is my take on Nancy's card.

I hardest part was the computer generated sentiment for this card. Then I added the die cut and I am sorry I don't know who makes it. I did search and all I got was Amazon. It was a gift from a friend who recently pasted. A little sponging and coloring and it was done. Added the twine and red rhinestones.
I made 4 for of these cuties.

Seize the Birthday #252 CASE a Seize the Birthday Designer

Hello, This is Barbara and I chose this topping for the last challenge of 2022!  I think you will have fun with it.  Just look back on all of the posts that we have done, pick out a card that you like and make one similar or just like it. Your choice for this one.  I would love to see you all do the toppings, but of course, it is not necessary.

If you're not a toppings kinda person, well...you can just
stick with our usual "Anything Goes" Birthday!
The choice is yours!

This is Designer Cathy's card that you may have seen recently and remembered. It is from August 2022.
I often need a more masculine birthday card and this was the one that caught my eye. Isn't it gorgeous and still masculine? I set about making one like Cathy's. But changed it up a bit, that is how I roll.

I had a strip of the embossed panel from another card and rubbed gold over it. Then added the gold star and sentiment. ( Yes it is the one that you see often on my cards) Put that on a white panel and then a navy card base. It was done!
Gina K Designs Tapestry Embossing folder, gold embossing powder, Navy and white card stock.
Let's see what you can do?

If you need more inspiration or ideas, check out the Surprise Party Guest and the team.

Have a great Holiday Season and hope to see you in the new year!

Double D Challenge - Hot Beverages

                                        HOT BEVERAGES
(Coffee, Tea, Latte, Hot Chocolate, etc.)
Darlene has given us some things to think about when we want to drink a hot beverage.
Just check out the mood board.

My card

Can you believe that I have not ever used this die before? So glad that I did now.
The die is MFT Coffee Cup and Perk Up.
I die cut and placed it on an already done background from Simon Says Stamp called Flora. I made a bunch of them a while ago.  I added a few flowers and leaves that were on my desk.

The Prize

Hop over to the blog at Double D to see more of what the team has done.

Sieze the Birthday #251 Ashwini-Many of Something

It is November I can't believe that we are getting close to the end of the year and November is the last month that Seize the Birthday Challenge posts.  We take the month of December off to refresh!
This month Ashwini is the host and she has chosen the topping, Many of Something. You don't want to miss this one. Get out your crafty supplies and play along with us.

Here is my inspiration for you.

My background has many of these things. Not sure what they are. Balloons or Flowers, You decide.
I used Simon Says background stamp ( Flora) and die cut ( Happy Birthday) as you see in the picture.
The technique that I did on the background is heat embossing and then some watercolor over the top. It was a day when I made many backgrounds that I could use later. This one came in very handy. The sentiment is one that you will see many times on my cards as it is easy and I love it. Some gold foil strips on the side and bling from my stash complete this card.

And if you are not into toppings, just make sure that it is a Birthday card.

Give her some love and the rest of the team too.

Diane is the host for this first challenge in November. The title is Thankful, Blessing, Grateful. Great for fall and the Thanksgiving holiday.  Your card will be inspired by this mood board that Diane created.

Here s my card
I just love the fall colors and the leaves using these dies from The Greetery.  Botanicuts Layered Leaves stamp and die, Autumn sentiment die and background stamp, Plaid.  I cut the sentiment from copper paper and love how the envelope matches.

Seize the Birthday #250 Halloween Colors

Wow! Here it is the #250th Challenge at Seize the Birthday Challenge.
Vicki is our hostess and has chosen the Halloween colors for it.

This is the topping that we have for this challenge, but if you want to just make it a birthday card that is great too.
I added Halloween images to the colors and I had this stamp set with Witches hats that I wanted to use.
Here it is.

The supplies for this card are; Simon Says stamp called, If the Hat fits.  Love that!
Stampin' Up WebWishes, and Winter Scattered Flakes stencil by Memory Box.
I sponged the background with green and purple inks by Gina K and colored the hats with my Copics.
I thought it needed a little shine and added some silver sequins.

The inside!

Double D Challenge- Orange and Black

As the weather gets cooler and we think of warm drinks named pumpkin spice and baked cookies and pies and all things Halloween, this is the best title for a challenge.
Orange and Black
Darlene is the host for this challenge and here is the mood board for more inspiration.

I can think of so many things that are orange and black that I just needed the colors
to do this card for you.
The supplies for this card are from many companies. The die HUGS is from PTI and is old. I am sure that it may not be available.  It has these great flower cut-outs that I placed orange card stock behind.
Next I die cut Gina K Fancy Feathers.  One in orange and one in black and off set them a little.  The background design paper is from PTI and is old too. I also used Master Layouts 2 from Gina K.
I love adding matching envelopes to my cards as they look so special.

Here is a view to see how I added dimension to the HUGS.

Of course, there is a prize for a random winner of the challenge.

Please get to the BLOG to see all of the inspiration from the team.

Power Poppy Blossom Challenge Gold, Silver or Glimmer

How the weeks go by and now it is time for another Blossom Challenge
brought to you by Christine and Power Poppy.
We are moving on to more of a  Christmas theme.
No surprise, as the new Christmas release will be out.

This challenge will be to use Gold, Silver or Glimmer

I printed off one of the new Holiday Blitz 2022 Christmas images.
Mighty Pine
All of the new Christmas Holiday Blitz digitals can be purchased at Power Poppy.

Here is the finished card that I colored up for this challenge.

I have been coloring up Marcella's beautiful images for a long time.
Here is how I did this card.

I used my laser printer as I had an idea to hot foil the sentiment.
There are a lot of new foiling techniques out there, but I just used the
Mini Minc for this one.
This is where the glimmer will come in.
The beauty of digital stamps is that you can print them any size.
 I choose to print this one for a 7 X 6.
It will be much easier to color those small spaces.
If you are wondering how to print and resize images, just go to Power Poppy on the right sidebar where it says I bought a new digi stamp...Now what!

After printing, I used my Mini Minc machine to hot foil the sentiment in Gold.
You will be able to see that better at the end of this post.
I printed the same image on copy paper to make a mask.
I wanted to work on the background before I started any coloring.

With the mask in place, I place a stencil from Memory Box called Winter Scattered Flakes
using a piece of tape as a hinge.
And inked up the stencil with Mama Elephant Ink called Winter.

Now I have snowflakes in the background of the Mighty Pine.
I did some additional inking around the edges before I was happy with it.

Next the fun part of the coloring. I like to complete one thing before going on to the next.

For a little more gold glimmer I used a layer of gold glimmer paper that I made by using
Versamark on the edge and gold glitter embossing powder.
I apologize for the pretty bad video.

Supplies:
Mighty Pine digital stamp
Memory Box Stencil Winter Scattered Flakes
Mama Elephant ink Winter
Copic Markers
Y21,Y28, Y26, YR23 Bells
YG95, YG97 pine needles
R14, R27, R39 ribbon
E27, E39, E59 pinecone
I hope that you color up something Gold, Silver or Glimmery and add it to this challenge. There is a $25 gift card for the winner.  It does not need to be new or Christmas.
Looking forward to seeing what you do!

There is more inspiration from the Bloomies.
