Creative Confetti - Colors of Fall

Hello and welcome friends to Happy Tuesday! One thing that I truly miss when we go to Florida for the winter is the changes that we see in the fall.  The cooler days and the wonderful colors of the leaves.  Yes, there is plenty of color in Florida all year long, but the seasons don't compare to the ones that we have in the north. The wonderful colors of fall just beg to be used on a project.

How to Play: For this week's challenge, let's see your fall colors on your entires. If you need a little help, I have provided some fall colors.

I added green to these fall colors and you can as well.  I just want to see a project with fall colors.

For my project, I choose the digital stamp from Power Poppy called Pumpkins and Pears. It is on sale right now and you can find it HERE

Pumpkins and Pears Digital Stamp Set

Finishing the inside gave me an opportunity to stamp and color some leaves.

Often I wait until I have a need for a card to put in the sentiment.  This one could be a Thanksgiving card, or a Hello, or even, How have you been, card.

I printed this image on Copic friendly paper by Hammermill 100 lb, in the no-line version.
Then I used my Copic markers to color it.

I used the die from Simon Says Stamp called Frames

I hope that you join me this week? Simply create, and then link up using the linky below! As we always say, if you get those fingers inky and play along, each and every link is an opportunity to win a $25 gift code to the Power Poppy Shop!

Until next time

MFT 2020 Card Design Superstar Challenge: Clean & Simple Genius

This challenge is incredible and so are the prizes that are offered.  My friend, Nancy encouraged me to join in.  I  guess that all I need was a challenge and a little encouragement.  I set out to color a card with the stamp set called Flowers in Bloom.  I love the look of poppies and colored them that way.  I used an under paint technique with Copic markers.  B24, R29, R27, and R 24.  The stems are G99 and G94.  After the coloring was complete, I die cut the panel with the Bold Beautiful die. That die is amazing as it has an outline that can be replaced, and that is what I did.  I cut it a second one from black cardstock and replaced the white outline with the black.  The entire die was popped out with more black cardstock and then on the front of the card.

I will be entering this card in the My Favorite Things 2020 Card Design Superstar Challenge in the Clean & Simple Genius.  Wish me luke as there a ton of amazing entries.

Double D Challenge - Don't Fence Me In!

It is a good thing that we have this mood board for inspiration as I was not sure what I would do for a card for this challenging Challenge. I was thinking Coyboy or horses, but instead, I when with a die that I have not used yet.

I will get right to my card.

This card is Paper Trey Ink all the way.  The dies cuts are from Make It Market Garden Gate set.
I don't believe that it is available any longer.
The grass on the bottom is My Favorite Things die.

This is the inside. More dies, and stamping, no coloring on this card.

And there is a prize for a random winner

Double D Challenge - Colorful

Do you believe that it is September and we have a new challenge for you this next two weeks.  Diane has chosen a fabulous theme as well.
This time you just need to do colorful designs but we do have a mood board for inspiration.

I had just made a colorful background while watching Gina K's Stamp and Chat.  I used the circle background stamp from Simon Says, white embossing powder and washi tape from my stash.
 Velum for the greeting.
I added the lily from The Greetery
I really love this die from The Greetery and made a ton of the lily's and the leaves.
There is a prize of course for a random winner

Be sure to stop over and see the Double D Challenge post and the entire team
 has made cards for inspiration.

Thanks for stopping by and I always appreciate your comments!

Color Hues - Yellow and Green

I am writing a quick post to enter this card in the brand new challenge Color Hues.  Congrats to Nancy Leppek and her team and best wishes for great success.

The Greetery Lily and Botanic cuts palm die.  The sentiment is from The Greetery stamp set called Balloon Bouquet. The background is a technique that I love from Gina K Designs. You can see that HERE.   I colored the background and the lily.
