Here is the card I did for this challenge.

You can't get any cuter than these furry friends from Colorado Craft Company.  I bought this stamp after seeing Debbie Hughs use them.  Since then I purchased a few more.
Just water colored them on watercolors paper and used a much used birthday sentiment from
Gina K Designs.

Don't forget to check out the rest of the team for this challenge.

I am so anxious to see what you will do for this one.

Power Poppy Heart Abloom digital

Counting today we have 10 days left here in our winter home before we travel back to Wisconsin to spend the summer. That means I need to pack up not only my clothes but much more importantly, my craft supplies.  Yes, I do take stamps and dies with me.  I found that digital stamps are the best for traveling. This means that my craft room here is basically cleaned and I am not making cards.  But I do have time to do some relaxing coloring.  I printed out the Heart Abloom stamp set on cryogen metallic paper, good for Copics.
It took me a couple of days to color it up, but so worth it and relaxing.
It is as large as an 8X11 card stock.  It is very easy to enlarge a digital stamp. I had an idea to make more than one card with this gorgeous stamp from Marcella.
I proceeded to cut it up to make four cards.

These are the cards that I got from this one large stamp.
Needing more than usual cards for prayers and just hellos I stuck to that theme.

Putting a frame around and fussy cutting some of the flowers for this one.

Again, I fussy cut the flowers and used a die from Penny Black on this one.

This one is a panel die cut on two sides and matted on black and then on Swiss dot EF on a white base.

This one has the sentiment front and center.

It will be so good to get back to family and friends as see them again.

Thanks for stopping by and I always appreciate your comments!

Double D Challenge - April Showers (water related)

April is usually a rainy month, at least where I live, and so we are celebrating this with our new challenge at Double D.  Darlene has chosen April Showers or (water-related).
Get out your stamps and get going!

Here is my card for you!

I could not resist using this almost brand new ( for me)MFT stamp called Puddle Jumper. I placed him on a background of rain by sponging on Distressed Oxide inks in Chipped Sapphire, Broken China, and Tumbled Glass and then added the rain with my white gel pen. He is colored with Copic markers.

I wish that you could see the puddle that he is splashing in.
I covered it and the splashes in Glossy Accents.

Prize:
Cheapo Dies - Rainy Day

Color Hues #16 Yellow and Grey

Yellow and Grey are the colors for this challenge at Color Hues. I have been on a roll with these Pantone colors for this year, so why not. Just one more and it was fun.
Here is my card.

I found inspiration on my Pinterest page under Cards for Kids!  This is a total Case of that card. I changed the colors (of course) and the animals. When I went to find out who did it, so I could give her credit, it did not go back to her blog.  I searched Miranda K, and found her blog.  It is worth the look!

For this card, I used these supplies:
MFT Adorable Elephants stamp and dies
Memory Box Banner Parade
Altenew Bold Alphabets
Casual Friday Whole Shebang Sentiment
Fossilized Amber Distressed Oxide ink
Grey and white cardstock.
I made my own envelope too!

Here is the card that I did for this challenge

The stamp set is Gina K Designs called Timeless Poppies and I chose to color them in blue. I used Copic markers in B 34, B63, B66, BG 15, and BG 72.  For the leaves, I used YG63, YG67, G43and C5 for shading. The background is a new to me embossing folder from Pink and Main called Plaid.
I can see this in my future.

The splatters were purposely put there with my Posca pen.
I didn't want to take a chance on messing up.

Do you believe that it is April?  I think that the time is going fast and soon we will be heading back to Wisconsin for the summer.  Yes, I said summer. All of you that have stayed in the north and have had a lot of cold weather and snow may not remember summer. But it is coming.

In the meantime, while you wait, here is our next challenge at Double D. Diane is the host and this is the inspiration board for you.

Here is my card for you.

This was done with one sheet of designer paper that I had in my stash. I die-cut some of them with stitched squares and some with plain squares. Then I had fun arranging them on the front of this card. Next, I used the Happy Birthday die from Die Namics cut from gold foil paper. I called it done.
I can't wait to see what you will do with this challenge.  Please pop over to the blog to see what the other designers have done. You may be surprised.
