It seems that I have a lot of friends that have reached that special birthday and why not make the most of that special day by including that age? After all it was earned and lived well. 

Here is the card for a special friend celebrating her 80th!

Pink Fresh Twisted Pattern die that I used the Altenew embossing folder on

Honey Cut Rose and sentiment

My Favorite things little numbers die.

Double D Challenge - Birds

The next title for the Double D Challenge is Birds! I am pretty sure that you all have a bird or two in your stamping supplies. Let's see what you can do or this challenge. Here is an inspiration board for you done by Darlene. I am anxious to see what bird you will put on your porject.

STB - #301 Anything that Flies

Linda is our host for this next challenge at Seize the Birthday. As you can see, she has challenged us to make a project with anything that flies. I thought of these sweet songbirds and did my card with that in mind. 

Just make it a birthday theme if you are not into toppings.

Double D Challenge - Going Green (anything green)

Hello my crafty friends! Here at Double D Challenge, we have some incentive for you in the way os this inspiration board that Diane has created.  She has called it Going Green and you can do anything Green.   

This is the prize for a random winner. You need to enter to have that chance, so got going on this one. 

My card

I have decided that this year, I will try to use what I have in my stash. Therefore, I looked at the stencil from Pink Fresh and started there. It has a die to match, and I used that too for my background. Of course it is green. Next I used the wonderful butterfly stamp and stencil from Gina K Designs. Stencils make it easy to color up an image and soon I have three butterflies done for my card. 

I think you can see where I got my inspiration. 

For this card, I used Gina K designs Fluttering Fall Stamp and stencil set

The inks are Grass Green, Fresh Asparagus, Warm Cocoa
