It has been almost a month since I have added any posts to my blog. That is because I am getting ready for my very first craft fair. That took a lot of courage and a lot of cards. I have the cards! Lol
I was also on vacation for the last week and missing crafting while I was gone. So now, I have two cards that I made for challenges, and here is the first one. I did this one for the Dynamic Duos challenge for this week, which is DD#66 Pool Party and Black and a neutral color.

I used a white base, with a black layer and then a layer of Ocean Mist paper from Gina K. The Ocean Mist layer was embossed with a new folder called geometric rings. I fussy cut the bottom out of the rings to make a scallop edge. I used a Nestability die in black and in the center, placed a very large button, in Ocean Mist. Topped that off with some ocean mist ribbon and black and white baker's twine. The sentiment is from Gina K, Tag Lines.

The next card was done for CASology #58

This challenge was Paper. So When I saw these cute paper clips, I just thought a friends card would be perfect. I added the smiley face as an after thought and I like how this turned out.

Appreciate any comments, and thanks for looking.

    1. Thanks for the good wishes, Donna. I haven't won in awhile, but it feels good to be back creating, even without a prize. It is hard competing against you and Sharyn. Lol

    1. The vacation was wonderful! Once the kids are out of the house, you don't get to spend that much time with them. Thanks for the well wishes, I appreciate them. Did you see my response to Donna? You and she are so much competition! Whew!
