Timeless Tuesday #239, "Build it with Dots" is the challenge this week at Flourishes. I have really grown to love these very unique stamps. They are so detailed that you don't have to do much to them, but you have lots of options.
The technique is called Pointillism and it is, of course, new to me. So I chose my new stamp set from Flourished, called Garden Picks. I also have the die cuts for that set too and did use it on this card.
On a base of blue, I put celery green layer and then some DP in blue dots. I colored the peonies with Copics, and used a die cut to "pop" out. If you look closely at the vase, that is were I used the Pointillism for the water.

Hugs and have a great day!

  1. GORGEOUS! Wish you had posted this earlier I just ordered a bunch of stamps from Flourishes this morning and probably would have included this one! LOVE the design and layout, your flowers are colored beautifully and I also love the look of your water. I just tried this technique, harder than it looks for me! Well done!

  2. Yeah, I agree. this technique was not easy, but it looks like it should. You will just have to get this in your next order. I know there is one in your future.
