We spend this weekend in the North woods of Wisconsin. The weather was wonderful and the colors were spectacular! Not at full color yet, but still breath taking. I was inspired to make a card of the lake, as we had a beautiful scene from the windows of the house that we stayed in. Thanks again Buddy and Bobbie for the great weekend.
So here is my attempt at capturing the colors reflecting on the lake.
I stamped this with the Northwoods stamp set from GKD. The background is embossed with Tim Holtz folder that reminds me of the rays of the sun. I sponged over that with Faded Brick from GKD and Purely Pomegranate from Stampin up. A little gingham ribbon and button to finish.
This card will be entered in these Challenges.

Thanks for looking!
Beautiful card! It totally reminds me of that morning photo on the lake! Fabulous!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love this Barb. Your background really does look like the sun's rays. And I can totally identify with the backwoods since we just got back from Grand Marais. And tomorrow we plan on a color tour...hope the trees cooperate. You have done a great job of creating a backwoods feeling with your card, and especially your reflection on the lake...well done.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous stamping love the design & colours.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing with us at AGOAC this wk.
