Just Us Girls #213

The challenge this week is a sketch! It was fun to put this one together and used a ribbon that I recently purchased.

The background of this card is three strips of ribbon and two of red CS adhered to navy CS on a base of white. All from Gina K designs. The focal is an image from Flourishes called Star of Bethlehem. The white panel is dry embossed and then covered with a thin coat of sparkle Mod Podge, as well as the two smaller circles. The image is colored with Copics. This makes a different looking Christmas card. What do you think?

    Very cool using ribbon for some of those strips! Love the added sparkle, I think I might need some of that Mod Podge. Thanks for joining us at JUGS!

    Absolutely GORGEOUS! Don't you just LOVE this stamp (set)? I just bought it too it is fabulous and you have made it the star of your card! BEAUTIFUL!!! (oooh never heard of 'sparkle Mod Podge--going on my wish list!) :)

    I have had this Sparkle stuff for a long time. They may not make it any more. Lol

    Love your card Barb. That stamp is so gorgeous...is it one that you won? Your coloring is superb, and I love the layout. Great take on the JUGS challenge. I just posted my entry too. Very fun sketch, and you have executed it beautifully here!!
