JUGS - #262n Trend Challenge Ombre
Seize the Birthday - anything goes - no toppings
Here is the recipe for this card.
GKD Card stock in Charcoal Brown, Pure White
GKD stamp kit, The Simple Things, A Year of Leaves, and Birthday greetings
Distressed Inks, Crushed Olive, Bundled Sage, Peeled Paint, and Rusty Hinge
3D Stamp Paint in Copper
Green Rafia ribbon and Gold embossing Powder
Embossing folder, Moutain Meadow
I did the ombre effect on the white panel and stamped the brick panel onto the tag. The leaves are cut with my cameo and after coloring, I used the copper 3D paint. I wish you could see the sparkle. Birthday Wishes sentiment is embossed with gold powder and the whole tag is placed into the ombre panel.
Thanks for stopping by and if you leave a comment, as always, it is appreciated.
It sounds like a fun thing to do and I love the card that resulted from the inspiration too!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like an interesting car ride!!! I absolutely love your tag with the brick background, the acorn, and raffia bow! (I LOVE raffia!!) Your leaves with the 3D stamp paint are awesome as well! I just picked up a few jars in different colors at a scrapbook expo I went to last month. I was inspired to try it after seeing your Pink Celebration card, and these leaves are making me want to play with it some more!! Well done!
ReplyDeleteYour adventure sounds like a lot of fun. Someone had to do a lot of planning to make it a successful day. Love your card. The leaves fit so well with the brick background. Love the copper ed paint.on the leaves and your pretty green bow.

ReplyDeleteLove, love, love it, as usual. Honestly, I just really like your style. I don't know how you do it - but there's just something about how you put a card together. SERIOUSLY!!! Love your colors here, and how you have created the leaves. Great texture too. And that game sounds like so much fun - kinda like a scavenger hunt.
