Make It Monday #198: Three Panel Cards
This is a challenge with a little different twist on the shape of the card. Start with a 4 1/4 " by 11" piece of cardstock. Score at 3" from each end. Here is the video for more information
This card went together rather easily. I used the stamp and complimenting die from Paper Trey Ink called Big Hugs. I love working with the set. The die cuts very cleanly and the sentiment inside is just what I want to say. I also used GKD, Berries and Vines Design Paper on the front panels, and Jelly Bean Green card base After die cutting the word, HUGS out of Jelly Bean Green, three times, I also cut it out of black. Then glued them all together with the black offset to cause a shadow. I really liked that. On the top panel, I used Spellbinders die, Scalloped Borders Two, for the border.
Here is the inside, just one of the sentiments for this set.
I will be sending this one to my 90 year old aunt. I visit her often and really enjoy the time that I spend with her. When I get old, I want to be just like her. While away, I can send her cards, as she does not hear very well on the phone.
Thanks for stopping in to take a closer look at this card. Also thanks for the little bits of love that you leave. So much appreciated.
So pretty, love the paper you used too!
