The card is simple and appropriate for the season EASTER.
I had already printed this digital image of Power Poppy Dancing Daffodils and colored it and cut it out. I was just waiting to use it on a card at some point. This was it.
On a base on GKD heavy Ivory Cardstock, I layered Green cardstock from Stampin Up. Then cut a layer of GKD layering weight Cardstock, but used two borders, cut with spellbinders A2 curved border dies. I also used a Spellbinder Pendant die layered behind the flowers. That is sponged with Wild Honey Distress Ink. The sentiment is from Stampin Up, A Good Egg stamp.
I am very happy with the way this card turned out with not too much effort. I will enter this in the Mod Squad challenge this week, Easter.

Absolutely Gorgeous! I LOVE your daffodils, such a Spring promise! (I saw mine coming up today, whahoo!) Your flowers are beautifully colored. I don't see how this card was effortless, it is magnificent!!! Those 2 curvy dies are so pretty and that center die is perfect, especially sponged like that! Happy Spring!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card. Love the colouring and all the nice die cuts.
ReplyDeleteWow, wow, wow!!!!!!! This is awesome. Fussy cutting that image was genius, and I love how you popped it up on top of that die cut. I thought that was the Lotus die, but I must be mistaken. Love how you sponged it though, that Wild Honey color is perfect with the image, which by the way was colored beautifully. I am printing this one out to copy. Again!!! Just STUNNING!!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Love those gorgeous dies especially the ones on the side of the card! Breath-taking, SWEET!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with everything everyone else said. Putting this in my inspiration book. I have a different set of Spellbinder boarders, but I don't use them very often because I just don't know how. Thanks for this inspiration. Love that you pulled out one of he older Spellbinder die too. We spend so much money on our things ans we forget to use them. I am going to use that die soon.
ReplyDeleteI love the beautiful bouquet of flowers for Easter. And, love the doilies you used to showcase the focal image. This would work for many occasions besides Easter too.
ReplyDeleteStunning card Barb...you should be happy with the end results! Mounting it on the die was a great idea! Have a super day or night! :)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness Barbara your card is absolutely Sunning! Love those daffodils and the sweet little blue flowers and of course that gorgeous die! Have a Blessed day! Hugs
