The end of the weekend!

Well, the end of a  weekend is winding down here.  A busy weekend it was.  Family was here for the weekend and there was the usual stuff along with a lovely bridal shower.  I just know have a chance to get into the craft room and make a card.  I think that I will just come flying into one of the challenges as it closes in just a few hours.
Here is the card.

I chose to use the die from PTI called graduate.  The base is dark grey and there is a layer of design paper from MME called Sunny.  After cutting the cap out of GKD Sweet Corn card stock, I used a small star stamp to put stars all over the stamp. Lizzie shows you how to do that Here

Still using that die, I cut three of the words out and stacked them.  I put gold stickles over the top and then added some red sequins from Pretty Pink Posh. That is all.
I will enter this card in Simon Says Wednesday,  Anything Goes
and Make It Monday #219 Texture Kissing

Thanks for stopping by, I will be going to relax. Now that I have done some card making I can take it easy.

  5. the background paper looks like you cut and layered circles. Great look. The cap is perfect for this technique and so is the glittered sentiment.

  8. Love the non traditional solid card-stock that you generally see on a Graduation card. This looks terrific Barbara!
