I could not pass this up as my very good friend, the first crafty one that I made online, Judy Woodland is hosting the Mod Squad Challenge this week. She has challenged us to make out own paper and I have used the Trees form KSS called Pine Trees. This is the first time that I have used this stamp and I think that I will be using it a lot more. The trees look so real, stamped over the polka dot paper, it looks like snow. In my card, I have used them as a background for the image. Not sure if this is what Judy was thinking, but it is what I did. lol
Love this little guy driving his Christmas tree through the woods, home. At least, I'm pretty sure he is going home.
Ingredients: KSS, Pine Trees
Penny Black stamp, Joy to the world.
GDK Cherry Red card stock
GDK inks in Jelly Bean Green, Grass Green, and Fresh Asparagus
Polka dot Design paper from my stash
Copic markers
That is it for me today. Short and sweet! Now I need to clean up my craft room for tomorrow's crafting.
this is just too stinking cute, I love what you did with the stamping on the vellum. those trees are on my wish list. Love that hedge hog image too cute and the little bit of black fumes you added are the perfect touch.
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable! Love that little critter driving the car. I think he is taking that pretty tree home to decorate. Love the trees in the background....very cute card!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute image and looks so great with the pine tree background you made.
ReplyDeleteYou always remember your first! ;) It does look exactly like snow, gently falling on your trees. Unfortunately from your last weather post, it probably is the scene out your window! Snow that is. If it was this exact scene it would be so FUN! I love that little guy speeding off on his Merry Mission! He's just happy as can be, putt putt putting along! :) Merry Merry!
ReplyDeleteWell, isn't this just the cutest??? I love how you stamped those trees on the polka dot paper....what a wonderful idea. I never think to stamp on patterned paper, but it looks great here. And then, of course, that darling little hedge hog, tooling his way home to put up his tree...lol. And I love the little marks you made behind the car to look like it is moving!!! Great take on the challenge, thank you so much for participating this week at the Mod Squad Challenge
