This month's challenge is a Theme Challenge!
create a project that is all about Love!
One would think that I only stamp set that I have from Newton's Nook is the Birthday Bash! That is not the case, I have many. But this image is my favorite you see, and I have so much fun posing him with different things. Once it was a beach ball, and he was bouncing down the beach. I have used the balloon a lot of times as well. This time, I did a little crafty designing and he is holding the cupcake. SO MUCH FUN!
This is my entry for this months challenge, #28 Love Theme.
Along with the image from the Birthday Bash, I used the sentiment and cupcake from Love a la Carte. Design papers from my stash and Copic markers. A heart shaped doily and Spellbinder petite scalloped oval die, sponged with Spun Sugar Distressed ink.
Big Football watching day today plus a few other things to get done. This challenge is new and if there are more than 15 participants, there will be two winners. You know what that means. Get your craft on and create something!
Thanks so much for stopping by.......I much appreciate that you take time to leave a comment.
That is so cute and I love how you substitute different things for him to hold. Cool idea!
ReplyDeleteI never get tired of that sweet cat. It's nice that he is so versatile....love the cupcake. Very sweet and pretty card!
ReplyDeleteLove the mix of papers and the diagonal design and the heart doily. The sentiment is too cute with your cute cat with cupcake.
ReplyDeleteLove your layout and that beautiful heart. Way to take an image and make it your own...clever indeed, plus you have limited resources, I am sure. Enjoy the Football games! See you soon too! <3
ReplyDeleteSuper cute card, my dear!!! I adore that cute image, and you are a master at altering him in so many ways. LOVE the cupcake. Looks like there's a lot of possibilities with that set. Your pretty heart doily really adds charm, as does the sponging on that sweet oval die cut. I just LOVE this card, it makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteSo stinkin' cute, he is adorable! Love that sweet doily heart! And I remember him with a beach ball. I also LOVE (pun intended) the Designer Papers you chose and your layout of them. The pink subtle plaid and the black and white polka dot, they are both so pretty, alone or together like here!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you have a favorite Newton set! The Birthday Bash set is very versatile and I LOVE how you added in the cupcake from the Love a la Carte Set! Such a fun idea!! Thanks for playing along with our Inky Paws Challenge at Newton's Nook Designs.
