I will get right to it as this may be a long post.
I watched Jennifer McGuire do a technique called watercolor lifting with heat embossing. Check it out Here
I did a piece of watercolor paper from Tim Holtz. This is what I got.
This is how it looks. After completely drying the paper, I proceeded to complete the technique with clear embossing the leaves and heating it. After lifting off some of the color, I cut a tag die. The Distress inks that I used are: Crushed Olive, Peeled Paint, and Bundled sage. I place the tag on a base of Fresh Asparagus card stock that was dry embossed with a Sizzix folder, called leaves. A bit of gold twine on the top, sentiment is from MFT, Sunflower Sweetheart, and Tropical Flowers. I used part of a die on the lower corner washed with green Zig Clean Color Brush, for interest.
Notice the tiny red heart. |
I used the sketch from this week's MFT sketch challenge.
I will enter this card in these challenges:

This technique came out really well for you. My attempt went straight to the bin as they say in England. Another great embossing folder. Love the tropical feel you got with this card.
