The challenge this month at Power Poppy is simply to make a project with a flower on it. You can see all of the details here.
I Thought I would try one of my digital images that I have and I am so happy that it can be sized to fit any space. I have place it on my card slightly left of middle to allow a die cut to be use.
Here it is.
Supplies used: Digital Cone Flower, Memory Box, Distress Windham collage die, Sentiment from Power Poppy, Small But Mcighty Affirmations, Altenew butterfly, sequins from my stash. Copic markers and white gel pen.
I watched the video by Allison Cope on Power Poppy, Inspire My Monday. She has some wonderful coloring tips that I used here.
Here is a closer look at the cone flower and all of the detail that I was able to do with a white gel pen.
Thanks so stopping by, I hope that you enjoy. Have a great day.
Oh, Barbara, this is gorgeous, and I love your layout with these beautiful coneflowers! What stunning colors, and I love how you've added the butterfly and this beautiful die! Stunning card, my friend! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI so love this gorgeous card you created and I love the colors. And, I need to get some dies like you have used on this. It dresses up a card dramatically.
ReplyDeleteI am just in LOVE with this card. LOVE the die treatment in the corner, one of my favorite looks. Your coloring is fantastic, as is your layout. And the butterfly is just the perfect final touch. This card is a WINNER!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is a favorite of mine, your beautiful purple cone flowers card....I just watered mine, they're coming along nicely! Great way to place them in this manner, then using that fabulous die cut to the right, you are just so clever and have everything well thought out! That sentiment is lovely, pretty butterfly and I adore 'randomly' placed sequins lol I agree with Judy, this is a WINNER!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Love the cone flowers and butterfly and how you paired them with that fabulous die cut.
