Seize the Birthday August, Anything Goes

Boy our summer has been busy and I have lots of summer birthdays in my family.  I needed to make a lot for August.  I was happy to make this one for the Anything Goes Challenge.  
This card was pretty easy to make quickly.  I used some watercolor paper and a die from Penny Black called Bashful. I die cut a circle and then put foam tape on the frame that was made after cutting the circle.  After stamping some leaves and sponging the green, I put the flower die on the circle.  The sentiment is a Simon Says Die.  This card is a 5 1/2 square card.

    This is so, so pretty. I love that dark purple with the green. Just stunning. And you are right, it's getting hard to keep up with everything, what with all the summer activities. I, too, have a lot of birthdays in July and August. Whew.....this might stop being fun!!! lol

    Isn't this sweet! I love that flower die, looks like every cone flower in my garden only a deeper purple. Sooooo pretty! Love how you did the die cut and the stamping and sponging. Glorious! C'mon Fall.....sorry couldn't resist! xo~
