October 2016 Inspiration Challenge by Altenew

This is the autumn photo that is the inspiration for this challenge.  There are so many beautiful colors on the leaves and we are enjoying them right now where I live.  Soon they will be gone, and I was so inspired by the golden colors, that I wanted to capture them on my project.
I stamped these flowers/leaves onto watercolor paper with Versamark and heat embossed with gold powder.  Then water colored them with my Tim Holtz pens.  I love the color and variation for dimension.   Then I fussy cut them out and applied them to the white panel after stamping an image from the same stamp set in the background.  I used the Golden Garden set from Altenew.
HERE is where you can see the other entries ad find out more about how to enter.
Thanks for brightening my day with your comments.

  4. Oh My Word! Your colors are FABULOUS! Now it is me who must lift my jaw off the floor! My eye keeps being drawn to your leaves, they look like beautiful glass from here--I have no idea how you did that! But that doesn't take away from those beautiful blooms! YOWZA!!!
