I used a really cool EF from Memory Keepers, a Christmas gift. It looks quilted and really adds texture to this card. The stamps that I used for the flowers and leaves are from PTI Graden Gate. They worked so well for this technique. I did color some of the panels inside the heart with a C1 copic marker. Rather hard to see in my picture. I then used the technique used by Melissa to make the heart wreath.
This panel is adhered to a pink base and I added the die from Simon Says Stamps, Heart Smile. They were cut form white and pink card stock and off set. Last, I added a few pink sequins to the front. On the inside, I will probably add.... IS YOURS.
This will be entered the Make it Monday Challenge this week.
Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving a comment. They always brighten my day.
I've seen quite a few of my fellow bloggers doing this technique this week -- makes me want to try it out too!! Love your beautiful card with those bright and cheerful colors! Fun embossing folder too!
ReplyDeleteThis turned out SO pretty Barbara! Absolutely LOVE your background and your wreath turned out just lovely with all the flowers and leaves! Beautiful, beautiful card!! :0)
ReplyDeleteOh, my gosh that embossing folder used with the wreath is awesome. I never would have thought of doing that. I had to laugh at your description because I started with a wreath on lavender card stock and did not like it. It was fun for me to stamp again.
