I love the soft look of the cascading flowers and I wanted to recreate this card as soon as I saw it.
I don't have a scalloped edge die that cuts like this one, so I used a scalloped border and just cut the sides. I place that panel on a base of white card stock that I sponged with Dusty Concord Distressed ink.
For the cascading flowers, of course I went to the Garden Gate stamp set. I have been getting a lot of use from that set for these challenges.
The heart is a die from DieNamics and it is cut from Recollections, Painted Fancy. The dots sparkle. Finally the Die cut sentiment is from Big Hugs.
Here is my take on Lizzie's card.
Thanks for stopping to take a closer look. I enjoy your comments and they make my day.
Oh your design is lovely! I like it more actually! Beautiful stamped flowers, I recognize that Garden Gate anywhere (I also just used it yesterday lol, here we go again hahaha) The heart full of hugs is perfect, who wouldn't love to have this appear in their mailbox. Just lovely. Oh and I like your scallop edges too!
