JUST US GIRLS # 221 Photo inspiration

This will probably be the last post for this year. I have grown leaps since I started this blog, and I have enjoyed every minute. I have learned so much, and I know that I can do more. So here is the card that I did for JUGS #221.

This is actually the first card that I made for this challenge, and then I was not satisfied, and made another. That one was even worse, so I decided to post the first one. All of the inspiration photos that the design team made were so good and great ideas from the inspiration photo.

I used an old fashioned clock and decided to go with that theme. I added some gold on the edges of the scallop oval and also put gold on the numbers. The gold fades to brown and those little dots are supposed to be champagne bubbles. Thought I better describe what I wanted to accomplish.

Thanks for looking and have a Happy New Year! I gotta go and watch football!

  5. Barbara, your card is wonderful! Don't second guess...I find that personally it gets me into a lot of trouble. Happy New Year to you and hope 2014 holds lots of happiness, good health (at my age that's the most important) and surrounded by those you love. My best to you...
