Just US Girls #232 Color

It is a very bright sunny day out today.  So, I did a spring cleaning in my craft room.  With every thing in it's place and all clean, well......what do you think?  Yeah, I got inspired to mess it up again.  Not so bad this time.  I had some new stamp sets that I wanted to use and time on my hands. Did I tell you that I love retirement?

JUGS is having a color challenge this week.  To match these colors, I used a Dew Drop ink called Sky Blue, Menento, Pear Tart, and GinaK, Sweet Corn.
Since recently reviewing the techniques on STV, I did one that I had not done in awhile.  It is called
inking a cuttlebug folder.  Just click to see how Gina does it.

Here is my receipe:
Gina K CS... White heavy weight, Sweet Corn, Green Apple
Cuttlebug embossing folder
Spellbinders Decorative Labels Eight
Papertrey Ink stamp set Feather Finery and Wreath for all seasons

As always, I really love the comments, so thank you very much.

  3. You wear retirement well, I aspire to be you! :) Love your card, at first glance I thought that ef was a die, it looks AWESOME (and I have that one too, so lovely and delicate) Pretty, pretty, pretty! I really love your bird and that beautiful wreath! Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

  4. Gorgeous and love the look you achieved with the Cuttlebug folder. I have not done that in ages either, but I am cleaning my crafting area today. Not sure I can even play much this week.

  5. Your card is so adorable. Love the colors and that stamped embossing folder look is wonderful, I'm going to have to try that.

  6. Such a great sign of spring card Barbara! Love the bird and the nest! Thanks for playing along again with the girls and I at JUGS!
