CASE A Card Mod Squad Challenge

                                                                       CASE A Card

I have had a technique in mind and have saved the page on my I pad.  Now is the time to use it.
Talk about pushing yourself to get this accomplished.  Yhew!  I do not have all of my stamps and supplies with me.  My challenge on all of the cards that I make this season, is to make them with what I have on hand. Here is where you will find the Winter Moonlight Snow Scene.  I basically used the masking and shading technique on this little note card.

This is the stamp set that I used, the trees are recessed, so I masked off where I wanted the moon to be on the actual stamp.  Then used white over the moon to enhance the trees.  I sponged with Distress Black Soot and also added some shading on the snow with yellow and gray and copic B10 marker.
Stamp set is from Hero Arts called Winter Trees and I added the Hello from Simon Says Handwritten Borders.
GDK CS is Sweet Corn, Black Onyx and White.
Oh, and the Sea shells are there to remind you that I am in Florida.  (sigh)

Thanks for little bits of love that you leave when you stop by to take a closer look.

  2. What a great card design. I love the look you achieved. I was planning to do the challenge this weekend but we got company so guess I won't be playing. You did a great take though on the original one.

  4. Oh my gosh, you are really rockin' the cards, especially when you are so limited in your supplies. I am very impressed!!! This card is gorgeous! Love that stamp. And I especially love how you made the moon's reflection on the snow. Just gorgeous. Oh, and how clever to add the sea shells - I'm sure you found them on the beach, you lucky dawg!!!
