The Mod Squad challenge for this week is use a Flower. For a bonus, use a Melanie Muenchinger stamp as she is the sponsor this week.
I chose to do it plain and simple and let the flower to the focal image.
I used GKD heavy Ivory base and layering weight for this card. The die is Lil' Inker stitched rectangles. I embossed with gold and colored with Copic Markers. Then layered on top of gold cardstock. Popped that out with foam strips and added gold twine from GKD.

Look at that shimmer and shine on your beautiful sunflower, looks like the sun is shining all over it, pretty cool! I love how you let the flower be the star, but that stitched die and gold chord make lovely accents.....so pretty!

ReplyDeleteI love what you did with the sunflower. I love the gold embossing and the double stitched rectangles add so much detail. . Really a classy card. I colored the sunflower yesterday for a card, but don't know how I will use it yet.
