Spring Butterfly

Splatters is the challenge for Just Us Girls this week.
That should be easy, but I confess, I used a stencil.  Sometimes splatters just don't splatter where you want them. I like the control.

I just knew that I wanted to used shades of purple, and a butterfly.  Here is the card that I made.

Just another view.

Here is the recipe:
PTI Soft Stone card stock, Sentiment, Quilt Spring
Ink, SU Lavender Lace & Sahara Sand
GKD ink Wild Lilac
Tim Holtz Splatters stencil
Washi tape from my stash
SU die, leaves
Simon Says, Flower Scribbles stamp and die
Memory Box, Viviane butterfly die.
Sequins Pretty Pink Posh silver
Judy dot colored with copic marker.

Simon Says challenge for Monday is B is for change
My B is the butterfly.

  1. Your colors are quite FABULOUS! I love the splatters, even if they are not willy nilly splatters lol That butterfly looks so gorgeous amongst the chaos, that's chaos in a good sense of the word, of course! Really love your design!!!

  5. Another beautiful card! I'm with you - I've never felt comfortable just throwing ink down and hoping for the best! Not comfortable because I've never gotten it to look good. I'm so jealous when I see others have such success with it!! That stencil would be perfect for me! I love the colors you used, and the washi tape looks great.
