Learn Something New Every Day

The card that I am posting for today, is one that I have wanted to make for a long time, it seems.  I saw it on Pinterest and ordered the stamp set, finally.  After getting the stamp, it laid on my desk for quite some time and then got filed in my drawer.  That is how it goes sometime. I am so glad that I pulled it out and made this card using watercolor.  I love to do watercolor and I also learned that I should use a good paper when doing it.  My cards are a bit warped even though I used strong glue and fun foam behind the entire panel.
We  learn something every day.

I am entering this card in the Just Us Girls Challenge this week as my good friend Sharyn Polesel is the host.  She is an amazing crafter, I want to be just like her, when I grow up.

Here is the card that I did.

I made two cards with this stamp set using different colors.  The one with the Hello is not a one layer card.

Here is the Pinterest card.

Thanks for stopping in to see what I am making.  I love to see your comments.

  6. Boy I sure know what you mean about getting something new and then not getting around to using it. I'm so bad about that. I absolutely LOVE your cards. I'm all about watercolor, and you have really nailed it here. Love your colors and especially your background!!! Just awesome!

  8. WOW! Good thing you pulled that stamp back out or we would have missed this gorgeous creation! Yes, Hubby just brought me home some really good water colored paper and it makes a huge difference. For the same card I used two different kinds and the same colors, and they came out so different. Fabulous job my friend and thanks for joining us at JUGS!
