"Papertrey July Blog Hop Challenge".

         The-Challenge

Look at all of the inspiration that this photo brings.  It will be fun to see what others are inspired by from it.  I loved the pattern of the rug and the colors of Aqua Mist and Berry Sorbet.
Here is the card that I was inspired to make after looking at the photo.
I used a Sizzix embossing folder with the pattern from the picture, and wiped white pigment ink on it, then embossed. The paper is Stormy Sea by PTI a bit darker in my photo than in real life.  Next I stamped the flowers from the Vintage Linens stamp by PTI with versa mark ink and Platinum EP onto water color paper.  They are then colored with the Berry Sorbet and Aqua Mist and my water brush.  I made a mistake here with the leaves and I loved the mistake and left it.  I sprinkled EP on the leaves forgetting that it would stick to the entire leave.  So I brushed some off, and heated the rest.  I wish you could see it better. The sentiment is from Phrase Play #11 stamp set.

I will be linking this up to the Blog Hop today at Papertrey Ink. Take a look at what others are doing with the inspiration photo.

Thanks so much for stopping by and if you have left a comment,  Thank you!

  9. LOVE how you did that embossing folder. Using white ink on the grey card stock is just GENIUS. It really mirrors that rug. And I think your flowers are just stunning with the heat embossing and watercoloring. I am so enamored with that technique and you have done it perfectly here. Just simply gorgeous!!!!
