Seize the Birthday No toppings

This time at Seize the Birthday It's no Toppings.   Of course, it's always "Anything Goes" as long as it's for a birthday.

This is how I was inspired for the challenge.

This is a digital image from Power Poppy and is called Spring Meadow Bouquet.  digital images are new to me, but with help from some friends, I am making headway.  I only used part of the image, which is so exciting about how many different ways that you can work with them.

For this one, I printed and colored with copic markers and then decided to cut out part of the paper to make the butterfly "pop". I place it on some pink gingham design paper and then pink card stock.  The border is from Simon Says and is called Frames.  I added just two pink pearls for bling.  You can bet there is Wink of Stella on the butterfly.

Please visit the Seize the Birthday blog to see the beautiful cards the rest of the team have made this week.

We have a Special Party Guest too.  Her name is Sherrie Koning  and you will find her designs here.
Thanks for stopping in, I  do appreciate your comments.
I hope you will come and play along with us.

  4. Love how you used that gingham with the flowers and popped up that butterfly. I would never have thought to use the pink and would have probably gone with yellow or brown, but the pink sooo works and provides a nice contrast. Beautiful.

    1. I see several comments wondering how I picked pink. It was just a scrap on my desk. Nothing more that that. Lol
