I was inspired by this card from Nicole Heady.  I loved the die cut and the simplicity of the card.

Here is my card.
I die cut the word for the PTI Big Hugs die and left it monochromatic.  I tried colors behind it, but didn't like it as well.  Next, decorating was easy, as I die cut flowers and leaves from Autumn Color Pop.  Then a few sequins. I really like how this turned out.

I will be entering this in the PTI Create along with us Challenge. Here

Thanks so much for stopping by, Your comments brighten my day, always!

  1. This is gorgeous. First of all, I LOVE that beautiful red, and leaving it monochromatic is genius!!! Adding those flowers is perfect, and I think those sequins are the BOMB! So cute....nice having something besides round.

  7. Lovely, lovely card Barb! I really like how you did the die cutting in a monochromatic scheme and used just a bit of soft color at the top and bottom...very striking! :0)
