MSC for September - The Heat is On!

You guessed it, the Heat is On challenge, that I have for you today over at the Mod Squad is to use heat embossing on your project.  I hope that you use a lot of heat embossing, like I did on my example card.  Not just the sentiment.  Here is my example for you.

I have used the stamp from Power Poppy called Farmer's Market for the front of my card.  I stamped the background images of vegetables with Black Onyx ink and then again over the top with Versamark ink before putting on the clear embossing powder.  This is a trick that I like to use, as it gives me a better results, than using black embossing powder.  I only do this with black.  Using the MISTI is great to make sure that you get the stamp in the exact place as the first time that you stamped it.  Then I used Distressed Oxide ink in Peeled Paint to sponge over the images.

This is a better view of the texture and the embossing.

The crate of apples was stamped in the same way, and then colored with my copic markers.
I used R24, R46, R57, G21,G94,G99, and Y11

Here is a peek at the inside.  My goal recently is to finish the inside with some detail. In this case, I used another Power Poppy stamp, called Apple of My Eye.  I stamped the single apple in light gray ink down the left side of the card.
I am really excited to see what you all bring to this challenge.  I hope that you go all out, and put the HEAT ON!
Thanks for stopping by to see more detail of this card.  I hope to inspire you and I appreciate your comments.
