So today, I wanted to show you some cards that I made because I will not be posting for awhile. We will be on vacation in Sicily and Morocco. So excited for that.
Here is the first card. I save the background paper from some a catalog. I liked even better when I embossed it. You never know where you will get inspiration.
The next two cards, show the same technique, but the one with the braid I saw on Pinterest and really love that.
The last three where fun to do. I just emblssed the first and colored the flowers. On the next one, I used the swiss dot embossing folder and ran a sponged dobber over it to color the dots.
Thanks for stopping and I love comments.

I found this technique on Pinterest and tried it today, with such cute results, that I just had to show you the card that I made. I will be doing more of this as it is so unusual. Here is the card that I cased. I used GKD stamp set Weather or Not and paper pieced the umbrella, the backround is dry embossed with swiss dots and added a little flower with jewel and, of course ribbon.

Today is Mother's day and I have had a very nice one. Hope you all had one equal to mine.
My favorite thing to do is to play in my room, creating and this is was I have done today.
Several years ago, about 4 I think, we went to Bangkok to visit our daughter and family. While there, we did some shopping at an outdoor market. I found these beautiful sheets of paper that I had to have because of my paper addiction. Well, after bringing them home, I realized that the pattern was too big for cards and I did not have a use for them, until today. I found instructions for gift bags on this site.

I made these cute bags. I am so pleased with myself.
