Seize the Birthday - No Toppings

Welcome to another great challenge here at Seize the Birthday!

There are no toppings this week.

Just remember to keep it a Birthday Theme!

Here is the card that I did for your inspiration.  I have been having fun coloring flowers and this is just one of the digital stamps that I did.
It is from Power Poppy and it is called Hellebores.  I am not sure what color they are, but in this case, I just colored them with vibrant reds and orange.  I used my Spectrum Noir markers, now that I have them organized in color groups. The sentiment is from PaperTrey Ink Make it Market, Scene It. I used a die from Die-Namics called stitched round rectangle frame.
Please take a look at what Seize the Birthday design team members have done for you and also we have a Surprise Party Guest. It's Kim Lackenbach from Kims' Cards and Crafts.

Double D Challenge - Friendship

This is a very interesting challenge for the Double D this week.  Take a look at the inspiration board.

Friends can mean so many things.  It could be someone from school or a neighbor or your pet.  Just think of all of the friendships that you have had over the years.  Friends can still be made and enjoyed each day and you can be surprised at how you are introduced to them.  I have met a lot of crafty friends.  Seriously, I mean that I have actually met them, after first meeting them on line.  There are friends that I talk to every day that I have not met.....Yet.  So this is where I went when I was inspired to make a card for your inspiration.

This angle shows you how I layered up the word and put several coats of
Platinum embossing powder on it.
I used parts of the chevron die from the front on the inside.

Ingredients for this card are:
Lil Inker diagonal die
White card base from Gina K Designs, and Turquoise card stock
Circle Dies from Spellbinder
Gina K Designs stamp You Get Me
PTI Peonies on Parade
DieNamics Friends ( a free die)
Platinum embossing powder.
Thanks again for stopping to see more.  I hope that you enjoy and that I have inspired you to join is and make a card to show us what you think of Friendship.

Double D Challenge - Twine

Yes, it is April and the first challenge for Double D is Twine.  Check out the mood board for this one.
https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1dVGbYL1aazOa_WYre3nCTU8xUnlXDHhMQWEROXLBwmtsJ5wLte2kjOFP1OwbNqkgMQtdhdvGuTXQ59ywnuy7v0eBYH_t_heuM4f-jyDl_kVQH-P_ORYaA1z1czDSO17neT67sxMTk9I/s1600/ca+dd+mb+twine.jpg
All you need to do is use some twine on your card.
Hemp cord or jewelry cord will work as well.
I have a perfect stamp set from Gina K Designs for this challenge, but it is not with me here in Florida.... so this was a challenge for me.  Here is my example for you.
I think that you can see the twine wrapped around the pattern paper.  I went overboard on this card as I did the inside and envelope as well.  Some of the flowers are stamped on the front and some are fussy cut and put onto the pattern paper.

Here is the prize that you could win.  I think it is a lifetime supply of twine!

This is the inside of the card.

Just another view of both the front and inside.

I used a stamp from Altenew called Adore You.  The flowers are amazing and fun to color.  I used my Spectrum Noir markers for that. The pattern paper is MFT Plaid Patterns 6X6.
The card stock is Ivory from Gina K Designs.

Don't forget to see what the rest of our design team has done for your inspiration on this TWINE Challenge.
