Color Hues Challenge - Special Tribute

I am playing along with the team at Color Hues for this challenge. 

Lindsey was a team member there and at Seize the Birthday Challenge. Unfortunately, Lindsey passed away last year from Clear Cell Ovarian Cancer. September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month and Lindsey's husband thought t would be an effective way to sell off all her crafting supplies. The proceeds will go to a fund in Lindsey's name.

These colors where Lindsey's favorite. 

Here is my card

White card stock for the base and a Criss Cross die from Amazon. 

Honey Bee Lovely layers Rose in red card stock

The butterfly is Gina K Fluttering Fall Stencil in Purple ink. 

The sentiment is from Spellbinders Gift Border and sentiments. 

This cause is close to my heart as I lost my sister and best friend to Clear Cell Cancer 6 years ago. It is a rare cancer and there is no cure. Much research still needs to be done.

Colorful Options

I am making cards for fall as it is my favorite time of the year. But I am lucky to be leaving on a spectacular vacation. 
This will be a quick post. 
I just saw a challenge that was inviting, and I made a card for it.

Pumpkin die from a friend, Leaves for my desktop

Mushrooms are Memory Box, Mushrooms, and toadstools.

(I love this die and have had it for many years and just now have been using them.)

A close look at the Shrooms. I wish that you could see the sparkle on the leaves.

Color Hues #71

Today's card is for Color Hues showing the above colors. 

Here is my card. 

I love these fall colors 

I used Gina K Tangerine Twist card stock

The die cuts are from a friend, and I don't know that manufacture. 

I used Distress ink in Dusty Concord. I added Nuvo drops for accent. 

The grid frame in the background is a die from Amazon. Before cutting the grid die, I used an embossing folder that I got with my 

Gemini machine. I ran the ink pad over the top. 

Hello die in gold is Poppy Stamps die. 

For the inside, I used the same leaf die and did an embossing with it and then

 used some of the same colors.
