Heavenly Peace Dove

We are coming to a close of Collection One.  But stay tuned for more ideas and New stamps and digital images starting on November 12, with Collection Two

Day five is the Heavenly Peace Dove and it is a beauty. It comes with a banner that can be added with a sentiment.  There are a ton of sentiments several for Christmas and there is even one that can be used all year long.  It wishes for Love and Peace and Harmony.  Who would not like a card with that on it this year?

I layered this image on a green panel and then a bronze panel.  It matches the envelope that you see in the foreground. It is a digital image that I printed the actual size on Express It paper, and used my Copic markers.
G24, G21, YG61, BG96, Bg75, C0, C1, C2, C3, and Prismacolor pencils 944 and 908.

I have linked all of the Bloomies below that have more inspiration for you. You don't want to miss them.  Also, you can go to the  Power Poppy Blog  to get your instant digital image or clear stamp;

Let It Glow - Sentiments

Wow!  Here we are on day four of this amazing release called Quite the Christmas release.  The perfect stamp/Digi to a Christmas release is a sentiment stamp.  This one has several ones that can be used for Christmas and some for your friends Birthday and for a special girlfriend too.  Here is the set.

I have some plans for using it this winter for birthday cards.  Look at all of the dodads that Marcella put on this set. Those lights can be strung together to make a string as long as you want.  A candle to add as many as you would like, and you can make them glow as I did in my card.
For this card, I used red card stock and cut a stitched scallop die the same size.  The white panel with the candles is digital which allowed me to place the glow behind the flame. That large sentiment was all that was needed.  I sponged Distressed ink all around in Fossilized Amber and Worn Lipstick.  I think that gave it a nice "glow."  This was a quick and easy card, and sometimes you need that.

Ok, I just could not resist making a fun card with that string of lights.  I just printed them out and fussy cut them out for this card.  I used nontraditional Christmas colors for more fun. I wanted to sparkle up the background and used some design paper from Moda Scrap, Let your Soul Bloom pack.  Over the top of that paper, I placed a stencil and used Gina K Designs Glitter Paste.
I think that you can see that.

Here is more inspiration for you from the design team.

Gardens of Gratitude

Day three of the new Quite Christmas release from Power Poppy is here!!!  This one may be my favorite as I love the images from it and colored up two of them for you. This is a digital set that can be resized as you would like.  The first card is the boots, love this one.

These boots are filled with poinsettia, Amaryllis, and Hellebore flowers.  These are some holly and winterberries too.  I place this on a panel of pink card stock and then a layer of charcoal card stock that was dry embossed with folder, then on to a base of the same color. This image will be great this winter for almost any occasion.
Copic Markers C9, C6, C5, C4, R39, R89, G05, G17, G24, G21, YG61, R81, R83, R85

I have some Florida friends that will love this one for a Christmas card.  I love the orange decorations on the tree.  To make them more realistic, I used Glossy Accents.  The Copic markers are:
E39, E97, E99, YR 12, YR14, YR24, YR 03, YR25, Bg13, BG15, R81, R83, R85, W5,W3,W1

Enchanted Branches - Nativity

This is day two of the new Quite the Christmas Release from Power Poppy.  Of course, there are some traditional images on this set.  I chose the angel and placed it hanging from a branch of a Christmas tree.
There are lambs, stars, and the baby Jesus in a manger. Lots of sentiments to go along with them.
Here is my card that I made into a slimline for this one.
I like making slimline cards, but I make mine a little smaller than the business envelope size.  It is easy for me to cut down an envelope as I did here.  My size is a 4 X 7.25 card.

You will find the complete stamp set at http://powerpoppy.com for all products. All new products will be listed together.

Quiet Christmas Release - Mossy Pots with Paperwhites

It has been quite a while since Power Poppy has had a new release.  So hold on to your hats because this one has so much to offer.  Stamps and digital images can be used for Christmas and will work throughout the year as well.  The team has been working with them and are happy to share their ideas with you.  Our release will cover almost two weeks of designs for your viewing pleasure.

This new release is called Quite a Christmas, a change from Quiet Christmas.

This is much more appropriate for this surprising year of 2020!

See for your self.

Today is the first day of the release, Mossy Pots with Paperwhites is first up.  This delightful digital stamp has two main images of pots with moss and Paperwhite flowers for you to color up. Don't forget the sentiments that are included, as they are perfect for Christmas greetings, and the Hope Blooms and Thank You will enable you to make cards all year long.

Here is my first card for you.

Using the image with the double pot of Paperwhites.
Design paper from JoAnn's, white and artichoke green card stock from Gina K Designs
Copic markers in C4, C3, C2, C1, YG25, YG63, R37, R35YR23, R32
Prismacolor pencils are PC935, PC 911, PC 1074,PC 914, PC 941, PC 1005, PC943
Gina K Designs Ocean Mist ink sponged around the paperwhites.

This card uses a single image on a bifold card with a belly band.

When you remove the belly band this is what the inside looks like.
That sentiment will be offered in the release too.

For this card, I used Copic markers in YG 93, YG95, YG97, and C1, C2, along with my Prismacolor pencils for detail.  PC 911, PC 943, PC 1005

It is done on a base of Navy card stock from Gina K Designs with some design paper from JoAnn's.

Here are the rest of the team's designs for your inspiration. You will be excited to hop along.

All of the digital stamps and clear versions will be available here

Double D Challenge - October, what does it mean to you?

Yes! What does it mean to you?
Is it pumpkins or acorns, leaves or hot autumn drinks?

Wow!  This is a really fun and thought-provoking challenge. I didn't have to think too long as I started with an old stamp set from Stampin Up. It is called Autumn harvest and has leaves, pumpkins and acorns, and mums.  Those are all of the things that I think of in October.

I used a frame die that a friend of mine sent me and I used it so much, I bought my own finally.  Thanks Kathy!  It is Creative Expressions Celebrations die. The sentiment and the corn in the top, are from Power Poppy stamp called Fortunes of Fall.
'
Don't forget to finish the inside.  Easy to do and leave blank to add your message later.

Remember that there is a prize and you can win if you enter this challenge.  Be sure to see the other team members' awesome cards HERE

Double D Challenge - Wreaths

Well, it is October and it is starting to get a bit chilly and we are thinking about packing up to get to Florida. I wonder how that will be this year with the Covid.  Sure glad I have my crafting.

Here is the mood board for you.

Here is my CAS card
On a white card base, I die cut the My Favorite Things Fishtail Tag.  In the middle of the tag, I stamped the wreath from Simon Says Stamps Wreath Greetings, several times in different green inks. The sentiment is from Power Poppy stamp, Amarylis Bliss.
Are you wondering about that bow?  That is the Greetery die Fit to be Tied cut from silver paper.
Then I added some green and silver jewels from my stash.

Don't forget you have a chance to win if you enter. We pick a random winner for this prize.
