It has been quite a while since Power Poppy has had a new release. So hold on to your hats because this one has so much to offer. Stamps and digital images can be used for Christmas and will work throughout the year as well. The team has been working with them and are happy to share their ideas with you. Our release will cover almost two weeks of designs for your viewing pleasure. This new release is called Quite a Christmas, a change from Quiet Christmas.
This is much more appropriate for this surprising year of 2020!
See for your self.
Today is the first day of the release, Mossy Pots with Paperwhites is first up. This delightful digital stamp has two main images of pots with moss and Paperwhite flowers for you to color up. Don't forget the sentiments that are included, as they are perfect for Christmas greetings, and the Hope Blooms and Thank You will enable you to make cards all year long.
Here is my first card for you.
Using the image with the double pot of Paperwhites.
Design paper from JoAnn's, white and artichoke green card stock from Gina K Designs
Copic markers in C4, C3, C2, C1, YG25, YG63, R37, R35YR23, R32
Prismacolor pencils are PC935, PC 911, PC 1074,PC 914, PC 941, PC 1005, PC943
Gina K Designs Ocean Mist ink sponged around the paperwhites.
This card uses a single image on a bifold card with a belly band.
When you remove the belly band this is what the inside looks like.
That sentiment will be offered in the release too.
For this card, I used Copic markers in YG 93, YG95, YG97, and C1, C2, along with my Prismacolor pencils for detail. PC 911, PC 943, PC 1005
It is done on a base of Navy card stock from Gina K Designs with some design paper from JoAnn's.
Here are the rest of the team's designs for your inspiration. You will be excited to hop along.

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, these are fabulous. I love, love, LOVE the patterned papers you used, they are spot on for the look of the cards. And as always, your coloring is gorgeous. I want to color like you when I grow up. You are so talented, my friend. Simply stunning!!!
ReplyDeleteBarb, both cards are beautiful! I really love the plaid DP you've used on the first one with the stunning pot of paperwhites. And how clever to watercolor the sentiment so it looks like it's hand-lettered. The second card is fabulous too with the wonderful belly band! Absolutely beautiful work, my friend! Hugs and love!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous design and great colors.
ReplyDeleteYour belly band card is so elegant! You have matched the pot color with the background paper perfectly! I have not seen a card with a vivid piece of designer paper tie so well together! Your other card is just as pretty!
