Seize the Birthday #248 - Clean and Simple

Welcome to another Challenge at Seize the birthday. The challenge chosen by Nancy is Clean and Simple cards.
If you are not a toppings kind of crafter, just make sure it is a birthday card.

Supplies for this Clean and Simple card are just that. I used a die from Elizabeth crafts called Garden Notes Hydrangea. Die cut it and assembled it following the directions. I cut a rectangle in the front panel and added some matching corrugated card stock. That was it.

Added some sequins from the stash too.

Double D Challenge - Things that Fall

September is a month of cooler weather and signs of fall. I think this is why Darlene chose this interesting theme for this Challenge at Double D. I found it interesting at least and remembered a stamp set that would work for this challenge. See what you think. I was inspired by the bottom right corner.

Here is the simple card that I made with an embossing folder and a stamp.
Supplies: Altenew 3D embossing folder Banana Leaves
Rubber Art Stamp by Ryn Waterefects 2
                computer generated sentiment
Card stock, Grass Green,  ink is Jelly Bean Green, Gina K Designs.

This is a totally flat card and will be easy to mail. I love the calming sentiment.  I think I will make more of this one. My secret is to color each raindrop with a colored pencil to make them look 3D. Added a bit of white gel pen for the reflection and that was it.

The prize for this challenge.

It will be fun to see what other design team members have created for this challenge.
Check it out here.

But if you are not doing the toppings, remember that it must be a birthday card.

Here is the card for this challenge.

Supplies for this card are:
Simon Says Stamps Sundae Afternoon
with coordinating die
Cane Back Chair embossing folder
Glossy accents, WOS, Vintage Photo distress oxide ink

I tried my hand at taking a video with my phone so that you can see the glossy accents and the WOS in action. It really looks yummy.

Double D Challenge - Baa-Cluck-Moo-Neigh-Oink-Quack

This time for Double D Challenge Diane has picked a doozer for the title. I have to admit, that this one had me putting on my thinking cap to come up with a card. But then I search my older unused stamps and came up with a card.  I am rather proud of this one.

This is the card that I made for this challenge and I can tell you that I have not used the stamp before, and that is a shame. I stamped, colored, and fussy cut out the images,  I used two embossing folders and sponged color on them after embossing.

The stamp set is Stampin Up called Hey Chick! So glad that I had this one to use.
Embossing folders were chicken wire and wood. I also die-cut some frames from square die cuts.

I continue to finish up the inside of my cards with a simple sentiment and leave room to write more.

Don't forget to check out the challenge to see what the other designers have created.

Thanks for stopping by and I always appreciate your comments!

If you are not doing the toppings for this challenge, remember that it must be a birthday card.

Here is my card

I used a layering stencil from The Greetery called Tartan Builder on the front panel, of course using the navy and lime colors. The die cut sentiment is Simon Says. From there, I just followed the instructions on Jennifer's video.
