April 2024 Pinkfresh Challenge

I got my order of Pinkfresh dies just in time to make a card and enter it in the                                                                                 Monthly Challenge.
I was inspired by the colors of dark green and peach and decided to go that and of course, the circles.
My new dies came in handy for that.
On a white base of cardstock, I placed a die cut called Overlapping Geo Leaf die with the matching stencils for that set.  I used the inks from Gina K, Peach Bellini, and Altenew Forest Fern.
After using the stencil, I die cut several Circles from Pinkfresh Folk edge Circles and Braded Circle. You can get many different looks to these circles by using the different stacking dies.

I decided to use two of the peach circles and one forest fern circle. I added a white circle behind and in the middle of the green one. The sentiment is from Pinkfresh, You Are Next Level Amazing stamp.
I added some clear gems and to make them the peach color I wanted,I just used a marker to color a circle under the gem.

April's challenge is Circles & Rings!

I think this could be a masculine card if I changed up the colors.

I am entering this card in the Pinkfresh challenge for April 2024
You can find more information here.

SYB #281 Any Color plus Green

Time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday!
Nancy, our leader is the hostess for this challenge.
She is asking us to pick a color, any color and add green.
Of course, neutral colors are allowed.

If you are not into toppings, just make it a Birthday card!
But if you use our topping, you may have a chance to be a quest designer.

Here is my card for this challenge. As I needed a masculine birthday card, I went with this theme.

I knew that I would choose blue to go along with the green for this challenge. I had already made a panel from Gina K Thick Brush stencil and used the poly-glaze foiling sheet too. That was my background panel.
The die in the front is Spellbinder small die of the month, Gift Border
I die cut that from black shiny packaging.
The bows are foil paper in green and gold.'
using master layouts from Gina K, I framed the card and popped out the gifts.
Happy Day is from the same Spellbinder die.

The team has more inspiration for you Here.

Our Surprise Party Guest for the next two months is  Jolanda Johnston
Melanie Hungerford is also with us as she was the winner from the last challenge.

If you use our topping, you have a chance to be a guest designer.
I love to see what you can do with this topping.
Of course, you can just make a birthday card too.

My Card

This card happened to be a happy surprise! I had some previous fun images that I was trying out new techniques. There they were on laying on my desk and that is how card and tag started.

Using a reverse embossing technique on this Altenew Zero Waste Flowery Pattern embossing folder. I then die cut oval. I tossed it and it landed on this negative foiled piece from Gina K Thick Brish stencil.  It is adhered to a black card base.
The tag is also using the reverse stencil technique.

Here is the technique that I was trying.
You never know here the inspiration will come from.

Pink Fresh Inspiration Challenge for February

Back to scrapbooking!

I started out in this paper crafting business doing scrapbook pages. Mostly the grand kids when they were little. I stopped doing them and advanced to card making. That has taken up most of my time since.
But my granddaughter will be graduating from high school this year and has been very involved in the drama department. She has been in many plays and musicals.
My gift to her this spring for graduation will be an album of her drama doings.

I am back to scrapbooking and I have to say it is hard.
Here is the page where she was in the Marvelous Wonderettes.
I was in Florida and did not see it, but I had a video to watch. This is a picture from a video, which is why it is not perfect.

I used what I had in my stash and ephemera from Pink Fresh. I needed red flowers, so I just colored the ones that you see here.

Thanks for stopping by and I always appreciate your comments!
