Yes, it is pumpkins for this next challenge and Darlene has made a board of Pumpkins galore.
The Prize for a random winner.
Here is my card
Gina K Designs Navy card stock
Pumpkin Patch Embossing folder from Simon Says
After embossing, I brushed white ink over the raise area
Jim Holtz Candy Corn (these were thick, I carefully cut then in half with my scissors)
I used an old spellbinders tag die with a computer generated sentiment.
A bit of ribbon from my stash ( I have not used ribbon is many moons)
Thanks for stopping by and I always appreciate your comments!
Very creative card with the pretty pumpkin inked background and those candy corns look like the real thing, a super fun card!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you whipped out the ribbon lol Use that stuff! That Embossing Folder looks amazing, the inking over it really makes it POP! Those candy corn look real, I could see Edie trying to nibble them off (high praise indeed lol) Perfectly Pumpkiny creation!
ReplyDeleteOH WOW ... this is so cool! And love how you finished the inside too! AWESOME creation!
ReplyDeleteThat's a cool folder and I love how it looks with the white ink brushed over. Good thing you were able to split those candy corns so you could use them in such a cute way. Between them and the ribbon you've got some fun and bright colors popping against the black. Love that old sentiment inside, too! ps: Did I send a thank you for the bday card? My head is too full! Better than being empty headed, I guess.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cool background! The white inking gives a spooky, eerie feel over the navy cardstock. The candy corn looks real enough to eat. I love the super, fun ribbon!
ReplyDeleteThis is super cute! The lightly inked background makes those pumpkins stand out perfectly and the candy corn is so fun. They look good enough to eat!
ReplyDeleteWell this is just genius, that is all. I love the look of the white ink on the navy cardstock, it's so stinkin' creative. And the addition of that polka dot ribbon is the perfect final touch. This is FABULOUS!
