Seize the Birthday - Tic Tac Toe

It that time again and this challenge is a new one that gives you lots of choices.
Ashwini has created a grid for you to play Tic Tac Toe and come up with a creation.

Just remember to keep it a Birthday Theme!

If you're not a toppings kinda person, well.....you can just

stick with our usual "Anything Goes"Birthday!
The choice is yours!

Here is my example for you.
I choose the middle line from the grid going down.  Inlaid die cutting, Flower, and Watercoloring.
I used the much neglected die, called Mondo Magnolia and stamp. Simply watercolored it and then inserted it in the die window.

Double D Challenge - Let's go to the Beach!

Here is something that we all can do!
Let's go to the beach!

So it is time for another challenge and this time we are going to the beach. Here is the inspiration for you.

Doesn't this give you some great ideas for a beach card?  Here is my card.

I wish you could see the sparkles on the waves that I did.
This is a 5 1/2 inch square card with a circle die-cut in it. I used Elizabeth Craft shells and the small lighthouse dies.  Those waves are MFT interactive swing.  They were meant to be the tops of trees and I turned into waves.  GKD By the Sea for the birds and the sentiment.
It was a fun card to make and I am looking forward to the Beachy card that you will be making.

Remember there is a prize as always for a random winner.
Impression Obsession - Dies - Single Beach Chair

Perfect for more beach cards!

Creative Confetti - Change it up!

Hello and Welcome to another week of Creative ideas for your cardmaking skills.  My routine has not changed much for the last four months.   My daily routine, after I stumble out of bed, is to get a cup of coffee.  Then I carry that cup to my computer and check out my emails.  By then it has been an hour, and I look at that cup of coffee, and it's gone! I must have finished it, but I am not sure!  Then I go for my daily walk.   So I decided to change it up.  I went for that walk first and enjoyed the scenery and the quiet and the cool morning, and planned my day. Then I had my coffee outside on the patio. I sure enjoyed that cup. Still, plenty of time to get to those emails! It was a good change for me.
You may want to make a change in your routine like I did or.....
Change up your card making!

HOW TO PLAY:  I challenge you to do a slimline card.  I know that you have seen them out there, so let's do one here. Here is the card that I did for the challenge,  I chose a Christmas card, but you can do any type that you like.  Just make sure it is a slimline card.

Once you are done with your creation, don't forget to link it up using the linky below. Every entry is one shot at winning a $25 code to the Power Poppy Shop!
On to my creation!
My card measures 3 3/4 X 7 inches.  There are other sizes too you can decide. The stamp set is Glistening Paperwhites.
Both the stamp and the Digi are on sale.
This is colored with Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils. I did a pointillism design
around the image to bring it forward.
The card base is Gina K Designs in Wild Wisteria and a panel of silver and then the image panel.
The berries have Glossy accents on them.

This card fits easily into a regular business envelope after cutting off one inch on both sides. Then I used 1/4 score tape to seal it off the sides that I cut. I kind of like the blue inside of the envelope.

Don't forget to complete the inside.  Here I just repeated the layering panels and stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set. Added the flower, masked it off, and stamped the branches with berries.
You don't have to finish off the inside to qualify in the challenge.  Just a good idea.

Double D Challenge - Stitches

Here we are for the first challenge of July!  We have a wonderful board for your inspiration.

Stitches...any kind
Faux~Real~Dies~Stamps

It's team Diane up top for this challenge.

I had an idea and used a die from My Favorite Things to create a real stitched tag.
This die cuts holes so that you can stitch a cross stitced design in it. I chose a pattern of flowers.
After it was done, I added some stamped flowers and fussy cut them out.
Here is my card.

I used a 3D EF from Sizzix Called Floral Bossoms and Distress in in Faded Jeans to lightly color it.
The MFT die is Crossed Stitched Tag and I used a pattern from them too.
Those flowers are GKD Bitty Blossoms And the sentiment is Scripty Sayings.

Here is a close up of the stitched.

As always the team has a prise for a random entry.  A die that you can use for sure.

Be sure to see what the rest of the team has for you, I am sure you will enjoy.
