Seize the Birthday #232 - Dichromatic

This is a great challenge topping that Ashwini charged us with these next two weeks.  At first, I was puzzled as I didn't know what Dichromatic was.  Did you?
Now I know that it is simply using two colors.

Of course, if you are not a toppings kind of person, just make it is a Birthday card.

My two colors are Speckled Egg and Peeled Paint from Distressed oxide ink.
I think I was thinking of Bette Manning!

I used the Altenew Embossing folder called Seasonal Blooms and then the matching Stencils to color it. So easy to do. The script is from Yanna Spellbinder hot foil dies.

A close-up of my new heat foiling with my Glimmer machine.
I see that I over foiled in one spot.

I learned some new tricks when taking pictures with my iPhone.

I used to lug my camera to take pictures of my cards for my blog and it was quite cumbersome.

I made this Valentine for a special person that has had a lot of trouble this past year.  Many decisions to make and health issues.  I just wanted her to know that she is not alone.

I will be entering this Valentine card in these challenges

Here is my entry

I cut this die 4 times and stacked it, then covered it with clear embossing powder three times. It was then placed on Vellum die that matches.

Double D - Hearts

It is time for another fun Challenge at Double D and Diane is our host.  She has prepared this lovely board for your inspiration. I was inspired by the gingham in many of the squares and I did a card inspired by Jennifer McGuire. She called it a Pop-out window card and you can find it here.

Here is the card that I made.

When you open it, it looks like this.

Give it a try, as it was fun to make and I did it on my first try.
Supplies used on this card are:
Wrapped stitched Circle Frame by Memory Box ( a gift from DD)
MFT Buffalo Plaid background stamp
Simon Says Deco Heart Die
Inside
Stitched Heart Die Namics
Simon Says Heart Smile die
Memory Box Banner Parade
Tiny dots and Hearts background stamp

Wow, That was a lot! Nothing like using your supplies!

Ok, Here is the prize for a random winner of this challenge.
