Hello blog friends! Today I have two cards to post for you. The first one is for CAS on Sunday Challenge #15 Floral Fantasy.
I have made this card using my new Magnolia Stamp. I got this one from a friend who had two of them and we did a trade. Worked out well for me.
I stamped the flower with Memento London Fog and then colored with Copics. I used BG10, colorless blender, Y11, Y08, Y38, and for the leaves, YG03, G07.
The Sentiment is from my new Flourishes stamp set, and on the inside it says, Always bring your own Sunshine. Love that! It is hard to see on this card, but I also used a Sakura glitter pen on the word "Blessings". I thought it was a nice touch.

The next card is for Dynamic Duos Challenge #67 using Crisp Cantaloupe and Calypso Coral.
I used the colors that I had as close to the ones that were required. The floral image is from Flourishes and after stamping, I used a wash of white acrylic paint to make it look like a muted water color. This will be a Get Well Card.
Thanks for looking, have a great day!

Today, I made this card for my sister-in-law's birthday. It is a big one this year. We have lots of birthdays in or family in August.
I am entering it in the JUGS 202 challenge, Monochromatic Blue. I used Gina K Ocean Mist card stock for the base and also a strip in the idle of the card. The stamp set is Hugs and Prayers from Gina K as well. I used a versa mark with clear embossing powder on the flowers and then sponged with Ocean Mist and Blue Raspberry inks. The butterfly's in the background, are from the same set and done with clear embossing powder too. I used Navy blue to trim the panel and the sentiment. A few pearls on the bottom to finish. Hope she will like it.

It has been almost a month since I have added any posts to my blog. That is because I am getting ready for my very first craft fair. That took a lot of courage and a lot of cards. I have the cards! Lol
I was also on vacation for the last week and missing crafting while I was gone. So now, I have two cards that I made for challenges, and here is the first one. I did this one for the Dynamic Duos challenge for this week, which is DD#66 Pool Party and Black and a neutral color.
I used a white base, with a black layer and then a layer of Ocean Mist paper from Gina K. The Ocean Mist layer was embossed with a new folder called geometric rings. I fussy cut the bottom out of the rings to make a scallop edge. I used a Nestability die in black and in the center, placed a very large button, in Ocean Mist. Topped that off with some ocean mist ribbon and black and white baker's twine. The sentiment is from Gina K, Tag Lines.
The next card was done for CASology #58
This challenge was Paper. So When I saw these cute paper clips, I just thought a friends card would be perfect. I added the smiley face as an after thought and I like how this turned out.
Appreciate any comments, and thanks for looking.
