Creative Confetti - Back to School

Dig into your kiddo's school supplies and use at least 3 items on your card.  That is the challenge for this week.  And here we go.  My kiddos are grown and don't live at home anymore.  But I do have two grandchildren that live close and I keep a drawer of crafting supplies for them at my house.  I flew over to the drawer and pulled out some things that may help me on this one. 
 I found a pack of papers and I pulled out the one that you see here.  
I used the frame from the top of the sheet. 
These are the other supplies that I used on this card.  Markers, Gell pens, and water color paints. 
Here is what I got! 
I stamped the Short Stacks on to watercolor paper and colored it with the markers, and watercolor paints.  Then used the gel pens to color the designs on each cup.  They really sparkle, wish you could see it in the picture.  I may have found a new media.  A border of blue that matches the base and a few pearls from my stash finished the project.

    Well look at you go ... how cute is this card! Well done! My 'grandkids' are in their 20s so I no longer have any little kids stuff around the house ... it's all BIG KIDS stuff now!! LOL Great job my friend and what a fun, unique challenge!

    Oh, Barb, what a darling card! I just love this darling budgie on the teacups and love how you've raided the grandkids' craft supplies! We also have grands that are too old, so I will just admire your beautiful card! I love the colors you've used and love how you've used little kids' supplies to get a "big girl" card! Haha!     This is such a cute card! Love that sweet little bird perched up on the coffee cups. That is about the amount of coffee I had today to help get me going! Super card Barb!
