This is the first time that I have entered the Challenge at Papertrey Ink. I ordered some of their products recently and just could not resist the Feather Finery. This is such a delicate and detailed stamp set that you don't have to do much to make a gorgeous card. It has three sizes of feathers and many sentiments.
For this card, I used a set of Gelatos that I have never used before, so this whole card is a first!
I just followed the easy instructions that were provided by Heather in her video. You can find that here. Give it a try, as I found it to be easy. I stamped the largest feather using orange and pink from my Gelatos and then stamped twice. I restamped with the detailed stamp in the kit, using the gold Gelato.
This was done on watercolor paper and then adhered to two shades of orange from my stash. Not sure what it is, but probably Stampin UP. Last, is the die cut that I have had from Christmas. The word JOY was cut out from orange paper and I used Wink of Stella on it. The whole card sparkles.
Thanks for stopping by, and again, I do appreciate it when you leave a comment.
Perfect timing Barbara, I watched her video this morning and loved it. Speaking of love...I love this card, what a pretty example of the technique she highlighted. Beautifully done and a pretty stamp set too.
