My sister needed a special card for an old friend that was celebrating her 70th Birthday this week. Since she worked with her while selling woven baskets, that is what she wanted on the card. I had the perfect stamp for that and went to town on this card.
I started with an embossing folder called Wicker Weave on white CS. Then I colored the basket by Gina K. Designs with Copic markers, and fuzzy cut it out. The handles move and are attached with brads. The violets in the basket are a design by Marcella Hawley. Love her work and she is taking off on a new business this week. The sneak peaks look too awesome. Then I added the black gingham ribbon to a birthday tag on the top. Lastly the black Rhinestones are scattered for the toppings.
Thanks for stopping and you know that I love to see you visit here.
