Power Poppy

Anything goes for the Power Poppy of the week.  I purchased the Online Watercolor card class and watched the videos all weekend long.  Boy, some great ideas there.  So, of course, I wanted to try the water color technique.  I stamped the Azalea stamp set from Marcella Hawley, in Memento London Fog, on water color paper.   Then used distressed inks to color with lots of water.  The Base card is Moonlit Fog, GKD, with a layer of black pinstripe.  I cut a scalloped piece from the spellbinders curved borders and added my image.  The Hello is from SSS, and I added 3 pink pearls to finish.   I think this card looks kind of French.  Ooh La La!   Ok, enough of the silliness, here is my card.

Merci pour vos commentaires et ont un jour heureux!

  9. Fabulous card design and amazing no-line coloring with the London Fog as the outline. That's tricky with the ink being so light. I love watercolors. A class would be fun! Glad to see you in our challenge, Barbara!
