Papertrey Ink challange - Bags and Tags

The challenge  at Papertrey Ink is to create a bag and a tag.  After stopping at Hobby Lobby to get some design papers, as I did not bring enough.  Note to self for next year, "bring everything"
I made this gift bag from dotted Swiss pink paper.  Then added the tag, decorated with stars, circles, bows and vellum.  Gold cord handles finish it off.

Here is the recipe:
Dangles Stars die, delightful Dahlias additions (sentiment)
Bookmark Tag die
Tinsel and Tags dies
Wink of Stella in Gold

This bag will come in handy for Valentines Day this Saturday.

Thanks for stopping by, I love the comments and as so very grateful for them.

Have a wonderful day!

  1. The sun must be agreeing with you. Great bag and tag. Love the strings and stars coming from under the gingham circle and how you used just the touch of gold.

  6. Well that's gorgeous, I am loving all the pink and gold together, super pretty combo! I find it funny that I created my bag and tag and then will buy the chocolates to put in it, and you bought the gift and then created the tag and bag. You know why?!?! Because I simply can NOT be trusted, alone, snowbound with chocolates in the house, there....I said it! Hello my name is Donna and I am a chocoholic! lol I also love how you did the banner on Vellum and popped up like that, looks really pretty especially in front of that pink gingham paper! Pretty!

  7. I feel very lucky to have been on the receiving end of this adorable bag! Love the bow and sparkly stars too. You suggested I could take this apart and use the pieces....but I don't think so. It's going to be proudly displayed in my studio! Thanks so much for lunch too! ❤️
