SPECIAL BIRTHDAY CARD

Today I am sharing a special birthday card that I made for my aunt's 91st Birthday.  it is not until May, but I like to get the cards made ahead of time and then, I hope not to forget to mail them.  I recently took the Stretch Your Dies class and wanted to try out one of the techniques that impresses me.
That was the one where your cut out dies and glue them to the card to add texture in the background.
So as I was thinking about a 91st birthday, I bet there were lots of memories, so that is what I went with in my card today.

Here are the ingredients:
GKD Ivory Base weight cardstock
Avery Elle stamp, Thanks a Bunch, including the sentiment
Tim Holtz distress ink for the flower and leaves
Pretty Pink Posh sequins ,sorbet
Die-namics Magical Memories

This card will be entered in these challenges this week.

I worked on some Easter cards for the grandkids this weekend too and they were so cute, I thought I would just post a picture of them too.
These are digital stamps that were colored with Copic markers. They are for Ava and Dylan.

Thanks for stopping by and as always, thank you for the comments that you leave.

  3. Beautiful cards - all 3 of them. Isn't it fun to make cute cards for the grandbabies? I love doing that. And the card for your aunt is beautiful, she will love it. Good job on that technique! Have you tried working with fun foam yet. It's becoming all the rage, and so cheap!!
